CINPASA promotes textile sustainability at the Industry 4.0 Congress of Advanced Factories 2025
Barcelona, 11th April 2025 — Sustainability and innovation in the textile industry were key themes at the Industry 4.0 Congress, held from 8th to 10th April at Fira Barcelona – Gran Vía, as part of the Advanced Factories 2025 programme. This event, one of the most significant in Southern Europe for industrial automation and digital transformation, brought together over 38,000 professionals and 570 leading companies from the sector.
CINPASA had an active presence at this international forum. Our CEO, Jaime Cabré, participated in the roundtable titled “Sustainable fashion and fabrics – Zero emissions in the textile industry”, sharing his vision and strategies for advancing towards more eco-friendly production.
During his speech, Cabré highlighted the need to integrate sustainability into all business processes, from selecting recycled materials to applying technologies that enable efficient traceability and carbon footprint reduction. “Decarbonisation in the textile sector is a long-term challenge that will only be achieved by those who truly believe in it… Does the consumer believe it?”, he reflected.
The roundtable featured prominent experts from the sector, who agreed that the transition to a zero-emissions textile industry requires close collaboration between businesses, institutions, and consumers. The importance of having accurate data across the entire supply chain to identify areas for improvement was emphasised, along with the need for public policies to support this shift towards sustainability.
Advanced Factories 2025 has firmly established itself as a key event for Industry 4.0, covering topics such as automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, and sustainability. CINPASA’s participation in this event reinforces our commitment to responsible innovation and the circular economy, both fundamental principles for building a more sustainable textile future.
